This mixed planter will thrive inside with medium direct light or bright indirect light. It needs to be watered twice a week and potted up in 1-2 months. With this planter, you actually get a total of 5 different plants: Coleus, Pothos, African Milk Bush, Gasteria, and Variegated Kalanchoe.

The soil is topped with blue granite gravel and comes with a couple small granodiorite stones from the hot springs pools at Mt. Princeton. This planter also comes with a grapevine heart and decorative moneypods. The container is 4 inches by 1.5 inches and stands 10 inches tall with the plants. 

This mixed planter comes in a thick blue glass rectangular container. There is no drainage hole, so we put a nice layer of gravel at the bottom to help with drainage. All of our containers and vases are up-cycled from second-hand sources. We believe in the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, or finding beauty in the imperfections. This allows us to rescue slightly used but still in really good condition containers and give them new purpose.

We start all of our plants from cuttings that we take from our large houseplant collection. We root them with homemade willow rooting hormone, plant them with cinnamon in high-quality fox farm potting soil, and care for them tenderly while they grow under natural sunlight.
