This mixed planter will thrive inside with bright direct light. It needs to be watered twice a week and potted up in 1-2 months. With this planter, you actually get a total of 7 different plants: Spider plant, Variegated Kalanchoe, Purple Heart, African Milk Bush, Paddle Plant, Aeonium and Elephant Food.

The soil is topped with blue granite gravel and comes with a Rocky Mountain rose quartzite from the San Luis Valley. This planter also comes with decorative moneypods, echinacea seedheads and dried xeranthemum. The container is 5 inches in diameter and stands 14 inches tall with the plants. 

This mixed planter comes in white cylindrical ceramic container with textured sides. There is no drainage hole, so we put a nice layer of gravel at the bottom to help with drainage. All of our containers and vases are up-cycled from second-hand sources. We believe in the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, or finding beauty in the imperfections. This allows us to rescue slightly used but still in really good condition containers and give them new purpose.

We start all of our plants from cuttings that we take from our large houseplant collection. We root them with homemade willow rooting hormone, plant them with cinnamon in high-quality fox farm potting soil, and care for them tenderly while they grow under natural sunlight.
